How To Hard Reset My Fairphone 1

1. Turn your phone OFF
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and the Power button combined until you see the green Android robot on the screen (if you see white text instead - select Recovery Mode from the list - this will bring you to the green robot)
3. Press the ON/OFF button shortly and the "Android System Recovery" screen with orange text will appear
4. Use the Volume Down button to scroll down in this menu and select "Wipe data/factory reset"
5. Confirm with the Volume Up button 
6. With the Volume Down button you can scroll down and select "Yes - delete all user data"
7. Confirm with the Volume Up button
8. You will return in the "Android system recovery" menu
9. With the Volume Down button scroll down and select "Wipe cache partition"
10. Confirm with the Volume Up button
11. You will return in the "Android system recovery" menu
12. Select "Reboot system now"
13. Confirm with the Volume Up button
14. Now your Fairphone will boot up normally
